As previously reported, the candidacy of Amanbay Orinbaev for the post of Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan was considered.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved his candidacy, taking into account his leadership abilities, patriotism and human qualities, as well as his proposals for the development of the region.
After that, the issue of electing the Chairman Jokargy Kenes was put to a secret ballot and Amanbay Orinbaev was elected unanimously.
Addressing Amanbai Orinbaev, the president said that in his chosen position he must serve the people of Karakalpakstan and justify the trust placed in him, defining justice, loyalty, honesty, responsibility, initiative and dedication as the most important criteria for his activities.
