Chinese TV Channels broadcast Uzbekistan’s tourism potential
Uzbekistan to actively promote its tourism potential on top Chinese TV channels. During a visit to China, Umid Shodiev, the chairman of the tourism committee, met with Zhao Bin and Chen Xiao from Shaanxi Tourism Group. The focus of the discussion was on attracting major tour companies in Shaanxi province to the Uzbekistan market.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to bring 25-30 thousand tourists from the province to Uzbekistan in 2024. The parties also decided to collaborate on promoting Uzbekistan's tourism through leading Chinese TV channels. Additionally, there are plans to invite experienced Chinese guides to Uzbekistan and conduct master classes for local Chinese language guide-interpreters.
