This year, cluster cotton harvesting has been established in 20 districts on an area of 164,000 hectares, this experiment began to bring the first results. In 2019, it is planned to harvest cotton in 61 clusters covering 51 percent of all cotton fields.
As a result of the creation of new facilities and the organization of cluster activities in 2019, 78 percent of the harvested cotton fiber will be processed in our country, which is twice as much as in 2017. By 2020, there will be a transition to the full processing of cotton fiber.
