Shavkat Mirziyoyev: Entrepreneur should be engaged in entrepreneurship, the builder - in construction
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his regular meeting on May 12 criticized the state of affairs in the construction sector.
He said that the plan for centralized investment during the 1Q was underperformed by UZS 2.7 trillion. The construction of new facilities in Karakalpakstan, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Samarkand, SyrDarya, and Khorezm regions was handed over to organizations that did not meet the construction rating.
"We have seen on the example of Jizzakh what serious shortcomings are allowed in the construction of housing. This means that construction organizations without a rating should not be allowed to participate in tenders. Let the entrepreneur be engaged in entrepreneurship, and the builder in construction, " said Mirziyoyev.
