Uzbek-French economic chamber opens in Tashkent
The Uzbekistan-France Economic Chamber was officially opened in Tashkent. Currently, the French-Uzbek Economic Chamber brings together over 50 French companies and entrepreneurs along with their Uzbek partners. It actively defends the interests of two countries’ businessmen.
The Chamber aims to strengthen relations with state agencies of both countries and offer recommendations for improving the business environment.
During the opening ceremony, the participants discussed the prospects for French companies in Uzbekistan, focusing on priority sectors such as agriculture, tourism, mining, and energy. There was also an expressed commitment to supporting entrepreneurs from both sides in developing mutually beneficial projects.
During the ceremony, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, and the President of the Economic Chamber "Uzbekistan-France," signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. This document outlines specific mechanisms for further developing relations within the Chamber's priority areas of activity.
