Uzbek Internal affairs bodies to transform into people's professional structure
Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On additional measures for transforming internal affairs bodies into a people's professional structure and orienting their work toward closer interaction with the population". According to the document, in accordance with the "Strategy of Development of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026", to transform the internal affairs bodies into a popular professional structure as a reliable protector of the population and further strengthen the rule of law, peace and tranquillity in the mahallas, townships and throughout the country approved the Code of Professional Culture and Service Discipline of internal affairs officers.
The document also approved the Regulations on the Department of Spiritual and Educational Work and Human Resources of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Roadmap of complex measures to raise the level of human resources in the bodies of internal affairs and the List of amendments and additions to some presidential decrees were approved.
