Female drivers in Uzbekistan show tax contribution surge in 2024
The number of female drivers in Uzbekistan is 1,500. Out of 481,400 self-employed drivers who registered for tax benefits in the mobile application, approximately 1,500 are female.
213,100 individuals operate through six online taxi aggregators (Yandex, Uklon, MyTaxi, Intellect servis, Promo Technology group, TOTMEGA), which are fully integrated with the tax authorities' information systems.
In the first four months of 2024, these drivers paid a total of 20.4 billion soums in taxes. Each transportation service generates an electronic fiscal check.
Since the beginning of the year, a total of 866.3 billion soums has been recorded from fiscal check issuance: 73.8 billion soums in January, 159.4 billion soums in February, 414.1 billion soums in March, and 219 billion soums in April. Additionally, 125 more aggregators are receiving support for integration.
