Fergana International Airport is not closing. Uzbekistan Airways is transferring its flights to Namangan and Tashkent airports. The airport is getting modern equipment for better air navigation, installed by "Uzaeronavigasia" DUK under the Ministry of Transport. This upgrade doesn't stop the airport's operation; it's working as usual.
Airlines like Turkish Airlines, Aeroflot, Azimut, Qanot Sharq, Centrum Air, Utair, Ural Airlines, S7, and Silk Avia also fly to Fergana. These airlines haven't announced any changes to their flight schedules.
