President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the construction site of Tashkent City on June 25.
This international business center is being built with a division into eight lots. To date, 7 million cubic meters of soil works have been carried out, foundations of more than 50 buildings have been laid.
On the territory of the fifth lot, the construction of the Congress hall and the Hilton hotel is actively continuing. Works on installation of reinforced concrete and metal structures, roofing works have been completed here. Electrical installation, interior finishing and mechanical works are performed.
The head of state was told about the implementation of the instructions he had given during his previous visits. The majestic building of the Congress hall creates modern conditions for the organization of international events of any format. Major summits, as well as bilateral meetings and negotiations will be held here at a high organizational level. The necessary facilities are provided for representatives of numerous delegations, media workers and service personnel.
The President also visited the adjacent to the Congress hall five-star Hilton Hotel, consisting of 21 floors. Here he talked with local and foreign investors.
The head of state gave instructions on the organization of high-level service in the Congress hall and hotel, ensuring their unquestioning functioning, creating broad conditions for our compatriots and tourists in the park organized on the territory of Tashkent City.
