Tashkent Medical Academy Reconstruction Project Approved
The restoration project for the printing house of the former cadet corps in the territory of the "old TashMI" in Tashkent has been approved, as reported by the press office of the Cultural Heritage Agency.
In early January, discussions on social media were sparked by news about the demolition of the Tashkent Medical Academy's multidisciplinary clinic building in the Yashnabad district. In response, the Cultural Heritage Agency issued an official statement, assuring that additional information about the building's structure and ongoing repair works would be provided.
On January 11, the Scientific-Expert Council under the agency convened its first meeting, where they reviewed the project titled "Construction and reconstruction of buildings and structures at the multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy," presented by the state institution "Uzshaharzakot LITI."
The project includes the construction of two dormitory buildings, "Accreditation-Simulation" at distances of 26 meters, 13 meters, and 52 meters respectively. Additionally, it outlines the restoration of the upper part of the building with a church, focusing on the exterior appearance and structural condition of the building storage.
The project for the reconstruction and construction of the Tashkent Medical Academy's building (formerly the Cadet Building), developed by the state institution "Uzshaharzakot LITI," has been approved by the Scientific-Expert Council under the Agency. Approval is subject to meeting specified requirements, including maintaining the building's exterior in a constructive manner. The council's approved project summary has been sent to the state institution "Uzshaharzakot LITI."
