Uzbekistan launches e-visa issuance system
E-visa is issued to a foreign citizen for a single stay in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan for a period of 30 days.
Issuance and registration of visa for tourism purposes has gone online starting July 15, according to presidential decree "On further measures to optimize the order of entry of foreign citizens into the Republic of Uzbekistan".
This system in accordance with the Regulation on electronic entry visa of the Republic of Uzbekistan provides for the abolition of the procedure of compulsory treatment of foreign citizens in diplomatic missions, consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad for the registration of entry tourist visa.
E-visa is issued to a foreign citizen for a single stay in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan for a period of 30 days and is valid for 90 days from the date of its issuance.
