Uzbekistan`s Family code introduces new concept - large family
According to the amendment to the Family code, a family with 4 or more children under the age of 18 is now considered as a large family.
President Mirziyoyev signed the Law "On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
The law amended and supplemented 8 codes and 10 laws.
According to the amendment to the Family code, a family with 4 or more children under the age of 18 is now considered as a large family.
At the same time, if out of 4 or more children, 1 or more are studying full-time in educational organizations (secondary special and professional, higher education) and have not reached the age of 22, this family is also considered a large family.
According to the addition made by the law to the Code of administrative responsibility, administrative responsibility is established for failure to comply with the requirements of a protective order by a person who has committed harassment and (or) violence or is inclined to commit them.
At the same time, the offender is fined from 223 thousand soums to 669 thousand soums or administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
