IOC to consider inclusion of Umid Ahmadjanov in composition of Executive Committee
Thomas Bach promised to nominate Umid Ahmadjanov to the Executive Committee at the general meeting in 2019.
The President of the NOC Umid Ahmadjanov held talks with the head of the IOC Thomas Bach in the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne.
Umid Ahmadjanov raised the issue of election of Uzbekistan`s representatives in members of the International Olympic Committee.
Thomas Bach promised to nominate Umid Ahmadjanov to the Executive Committee at the general meeting in 2019.
Umid Ahmadjanov also invited Bach to assist in the organization of new tournaments under the auspices of the IOC, and noted that Tashkent is ready to take responsibility for these sporting events.
The head of the IOC said that in 2019 it would be nice to hold a major event in Tashkent on the marketing of the International Olympic Committee.
