Uzbekistan to host Sabre-fencing World Cup

On February 10-12, 2023, Tashkent will host the World Cup of sabre-fencing. The strongest sabre fencers in the world will fight for victory in this women's competition. The competition, which will be held at the Gymnastics Palace, will provide valuable points for the world rankings before the Paris 2024 cycle. Meanwhile, 12 national teams including the United States, the Republic of Korea, Greece, Hungary and Azerbaijan have already announced their line-ups for the tournament. The Uzbek athletes, led by Vladimir Nazlimov, are preparing for the competition these days at the training base in Novoabad.
