Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to increase mutual tourist flow
Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have signed a "road map" to increase mutual tourist flow, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism reports. The Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan adopted a trilateral "road map" in the implementation of the project Tabarruk Ziyorat.
The parties will increase the flow of tourists between the countries through the development of tourism programs. It is also planned to establish information exchange between tour operators, systematic placement of information about tourism potential on a special platform of pilgrimage tourism, as well as the creation of facilities at border crossings for incoming tourists for the purpose of pilgrimage.
In addition, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan intend to begin developing proposals to increase the number of bus services on the Turkestan-Tashkent route.
