Balcomuz wins Tashkent Parking Auction
On November 25, an auction was held for the right to organize paid parking lots along the streets of Tashkent. The auction lasted 2 hours and 10 minutes, with 22 bids placed. Balcomuz Company won the auction, offering 120.15 billion soums, which is 2.1 times higher than the starting price of 57.2 billion soums. Balcomuz was registered in January 2020 in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent. Its main activity is restaurants and food delivery services. The company, founded in 2019, is known for integrating Japanese traditions into Uzbekistan's growing economy. It has implemented several projects, including the Central Park amusement park, the More water complex, the TheBani bath complex in Tashkent, the Oxygen Development building in Namangan, the Balcomsoft IT company, and the Flamingo restaurant.
The founders include the Japanese company Balcom (60%), Avazbek Nuriddinov (20%), Bobur Akramov (10%), and Anvar Hoshimov (10%). Avazbek Nuriddinov, the company's head, also has a stake in Kunugi company.
