New project to support Olympic national team of Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan's national football team is participating in this year's Summer Olympics in Paris for the first time. A new project  has been launched by "Uzbekistan's Club" to support Uzbek players during the upcoming matches.

The Olympic football team of Uzbekistan is participating in the Olympic Games for the first time in history. Their historic achievement has captured the attention of many, and the project "I am from Uzbekistan - Victory in my blood" has been launched by "Uzbekistan's Club" to support them.

 The Football Association and the athletes welcomed the proposal enthusiastically. All members of the Uzbekistan national team are involved in filming the clip. Notably, players like Eldor Shomurodov and Abbosbek Fayzullaev, along with head coach Timur Kapadze are also part of this big project.

This initiative received support from the Government of Uzbekistan, the Football Association of Uzbekistan, the Association of Neighborhoods of Uzbekistan, the Youth Affairs Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Public Fund "Vatandosh", the National Olympic Committee, Uzbekistan Airways, Ucell, and other official organizations and companies. Additionally, our TV channel, UzReport is one of the partners.

The project "I'm from Uzbekistan - Victory in my blood" has two stages. The first step involves shooting a video for the official anthem of Uzbekistan's national football team. This is happening at the large pavilion of the Media Center of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan. The photo shoot includes the participation of the country's top artists. A special creative group, led by director Rustam Meliev, has been formed, with notable involvement from cameraman Max Tsui, known for his work on commercials for famous sports brands worldwide, who was brought in from Germany.

Konsta's song has been selected as the official anthem of the Uzbekistan national team. It's notable that this song has also become the unofficial football anthem of the Asian Cup held this year. The premiere of the clip is scheduled to take place during a grand gala concert at "Humo Arena" on June 30th, Youth Day. Following that, the international challenge "Victory in my Blood " will commence from July 1st to July 18th. This challenge will be open nationwide, allowing all citizens and compatriots abroad to participate. One of the challenge requirements is to create a unique music video for this song. The winner will receive a substantial cash prize.

The foundation of the Uzbekistan national team, which secured its first-ever Olympic Games, comes from the "Olympic" team. This team was established in 2021 under the initiative of the National Olympic Committee and competed in the Pro League. The games involving this team were broadcast for the first time on the Uzreport TV channel.

Millions of fans in Uzbekistan eagerly awaited victory in the U23 Asian Cup held in Qatar this year. Uzbek team secured a historic Olympic ticket for the country by defeating Indonesia 2-0 in the semi-finals of the competition. 

The main goal of the "I am from Uzbekistan" project is to unite all Uzbeks in supporting the country's national team at the Olympic Games in Paris. This aims to bring together the nation worldwide around the idea of a unified Uzbek identity.
