CEC allows all political parties to participate in elections
On October 11-14, the CEC involved permanent members of the Central Election Commission, experts of the ministries of internal affairs and justice, specialists, representatives of civil society institutions to verify the correctness of signature sheets. The expert group gave a positive conclusion. Authorized representatives of the parties also took a direct part in this process.
On October 15, a meeting of the CEC was held, during which it was decided to grant all political parties permission to participate in the elections to the Legislative chamber of the Oliy Majlis.
On October 10, authorized representatives of five political parties submitted signature lists to the CEC.

The meeting also approved the cost estimates for the preparation and conduct of elections to the Legislative Chamber, regional, district and city councils of people's deputies. The amount of state funds allocated to finance each candidate from political parties to participate in the elections was determined: 10 million 832 thousand soums will be allocated for each candidate for the elections to the Legislative Chamber, 2 million soums for the candidate for the regional Kengashes of people's deputies and Tashkent, 1 million soums for the candidates for the district and city Kengashes of people's deputies.
