China and Uzbekistan Strengthen Ties for Trade and Culture
Tanzila Narbayeva, the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, met with a delegation led by China's Minister of Culture and Tourism, Hu Heping.
They discussed expanding trade, improving relations between parliaments, and boosting cultural exchanges. Both countries have a program for development from 2023 to 2027, involving high-tech industries and projects worth over $25 billion.
The discussion highlighted the significance of parliamentary ties to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations. They emphasized the potential to enhance cooperation between the Oliy Majlis and the All-China People's Council, especially in cultural and tourism matters.
