"It is very important to pay attention to the issues of financial infrastructure. I would like to draw attention to the proposals of the Kazakh side to develop specific steps for the transition to mutual settlements in national currencies within the framework of the Shanghai organization. This is a good initiative, it needs to be worked out. We invite financiers, banking experts of the Shanghai organization to participate in the round table, which will be held early next year in Moscow. We hope that there will be concrete results that will allow us to use these modern and relevant means of payment in the current trading conditions, " Dmitry Medvedev said.
The Russian Prime Minister called the SCO an effective platform for discussing national development strategies.
"One of the directions here is the initiative of the Great Eurasian partnership. This is the largest project based on openness and equality", - Russian PM said.
