President held meeting with advisor Suma Chakrabarti
President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, met with Suma Chakrabarti, Advisor on Economic Development, Effective Governance, and International Cooperation. They discussed the key areas of the advisor's work for this year, focusing on promoting Uzbekistan's investment potential internationally, completing the country’s accession to the World Trade Organization, and improving civil servants' skills through training at top foreign institutions.
The importance of successfully organizing the upcoming “roadshow” on Uzbekistan's investment potential and the Tashkent International Investment Forum with leading foreign companies and financial institutions was highlighted.
They also addressed practical steps to establish the Tashkent International Commercial Court under the International Center for Digital Technologies, enhance Uzbekistan’s standing in global rankings, and conduct in-depth research on economic development.
