President of Uzbekistan visits Shusha city
The Presidents of the two countries started their acquaintance with the city by visiting the Saatli Mosque constructed in 1883.
Then, the heads of state viewed the photo exhibition "Heydar Aliyev and Karabakh" organized in connection with the 100th anniversary of the national leader of Azerbaijan.
A visit was made to the main town square of Shusha.
The Uzbek side with great interest familiarized with the spring "Khan qizi", which served as a source of drinking water for the city, the house-museum of famous Azerbaijani cultural figure Bulbul, architectural monument "House of Mehmandarovs", as well as the famous plain tract of Jydir Duzu, where equestrian competitions were held.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit program ended here. Immediately after arriving in Tashkent, the President left for Samarkand.
