Samarkand set to host 5th meeting of dialogue "India-Central Asia"

The 5th meeting of the India – Central Asia dialogue will be underway in Samarkand on September 13-14.

The event is to be organized by the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations in cooperation with the Indian Council for International Affairs.

The Indian delegation, comprised of representatives of authoritative "think tanks" of this country, will be headed by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India Mobashar Javad Akbar.

The upcoming forum will discuss the current dynamics of regional cooperation in Central Asia, joint counteraction to threats and challenges of stable development, as well as the development of relevant proposals and recommendations to deepen the interaction of Central Asian countries with India in the fields of politics, economy, security and culture.
