State emblem of Uzbekistan turns 29
Uzbekistan on July 2 celebrated the 29th anniversary of the adoption of the law "On the State Emblem". This date has a special significance for every compatriot, and for the history of our Motherland.
The document was adopted at the tenth session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
Each color, line, symbol depicted on the state emblem has a deep symbolic meaning.
The sun and bright rays depicted on it literally illuminate blooming valley; flowing mountain rivers are the eternity of life; wheat on one side of the coat of arms reflects prosperity; and a wreath of cotton branches on the other - the purity of the hearts and intentions of the Uzbek people.
