Turkmenistan ratifies Agreement on cooperation with Uzbekistan

Turkmenistan held its twenty-second meeting of the Mejlis of the fifth convocation, during which its participants approved a number of laws and normative-legal acts.
The deputies approved and adopted a draft resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan "On ratification of the Agreement on strategic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Republic of Uzbekistan".
In accordance with the provisions of the Agreement, the parties will intensify cooperation on further development of trade-economic ties, including through the creation of favorable conditions for increasing trade, increasing the volume and range of mutual deliveries of goods (services), and establishing direct business contacts between representatives of business structures of the two countries.
The Agreement also approved the Program for implementation of 35 measures in various fields of economic cooperation.
