Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Strengthen Accreditation Cooperation
During the state visit of Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Azerbaijan, approximately 20 significant cooperation documents were signed, covering various fields. Notably, an accord was reached between the "Accreditation Center of Uzbekistan" and the Azerbaijan Accreditation Center.
This protocol aims to promote accreditation cooperation within the framework of each country's respective powers and national laws. It encompasses ongoing projects aimed at establishing an effective mechanism for technical collaboration, communication, and the exchange of information. The protocol facilitates the sharing of experience between UZAKK and AZAK, including participation in international conferences, symposiums, joint seminars, and the interchange of experts.
Among its provisions, the protocol outlines joint assessments of conformity evaluation bodies, monitoring of audit processes, and participation in witness assessments.
