Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to restore underground gas storage
On April 10, the delegation of the Ministry of Energy went to the Qadamjay district of Kyrgyzstan to research restoring the natural gas storage system at the "North Sokh" HYDRO.
At the meeting, the two countries discussed implementing the activities provided in the road map. They examined the condition of gas wells in the territory of Kyrgyzstan and determined the next steps to be implemented in the project.
The Ministers of Energy of the two countries also signed a "Roadmap" for the preparation of the technical and economic basis of this project. In particular, Uzbekistan formed a working group of 15 people. Together with "UzLITIneftgaz" JSC, a technical assignment was developed for conducting field research in the wells of the "North Sokh".
