Alisher Sadullayev appointed President of Chess Federation of Uzbekistan
Alisher Sadullaev has taken over as chairman of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan. At the same time, he continues his activities as director of the Agency for Youth Affairs of Uzbekistan.
Alisher Sadullaev (b. 1994) is a graduate of the Singapore Management Development Institute in Tashkent. In July 2017, he became the youngest deputy minister in the country, joining the team of the Ministry of Public Education. In 2018, Alisher Sadullayev worked as the first deputy head of the Youth Union. In September 2019, he was elected chairman of the central council of the Youth Union.
In his new post, he replaced Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov, who headed the Federation since January 2021.
