Andijan region to commission Institute of Economics and Construction
The Andijan region will soon have its own Institute of Economics and Construction. It will be commissioned from the 2020/2021 academic year. The Institute is established by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan dated August 26.

Followings have been defined as the main tasks and activities of the Institute:
- training, retraining and advanced training of competitive specialists with higher education, research and teaching staff in the field of economics and construction;
- development of qualification requirements, curricula and research programs based on the best practices of leading foreign universities, improvement of educational and scientific-methodological support and its implementation in practice;
- formation of a modern educational and laboratory base, implementation of educational and scientific projects. In addition, the Institute will establish cooperation with business in providing employment for graduates.
