Enforcement Bureau of Uzbekistan loses its powers
The Ministry of energy is responsible for conducting a comprehensive analysis, identifying systemic problems, and developing proposals to improve the system for ensuring payments for energy resources.
According to the presidential decree "On additional measures to improve the mechanism for selling natural gas and electric energy", the following tasks and powers of the enforcement Bureau are to be transferred from August 1, 2020:
To the Ministry of energy - organization and monitoring of the implementation of modern automated systems for monitoring and accounting of electricity and natural gas consumption, as well as alternative energy sources;
Territorial enterprises of JSC "Regional Electric Networks" and regional gas supply organizations of JSC " Hududgaztaminot – ensuring the completeness and timeliness of payments, reducing consumer debt, as well as accounting for sales and consumption of electric energy and natural gas;
Territorial enterprises of JSC "Regional Electric networks" and regional gas supply organizations of JSC "Hududgaztaminot" and relevant law enforcement agencies-detection, suppression and prevention of theft, illegal connection to electric and gas distribution networks;
To the Ministry of energy, JSC "Regional Electric Networks", JSC "Khududgaztaminot” – taking measures to improve the legal culture and responsibility of consumers for the careful attitude and rational use of electric energy and natural gas;
