According to the UNWTO, Uzbekistan was ranked fourth in the list of 20 fast-developing countries in the tourism sector. In recent data, it was published that Uzbekistan’s income from tourism amounts to over $1.7 billion.

As the Saudi newspaper Sado reported, the average stay of tourists in Uzbekistan is 4-5 days. This has increased by 1.5 times compared to 2019. In 2017, each foreign tourist spent an average of $197 in the country. This indicator reached $400 in 2023, and the amount of income from the tourism industry during the nine months made up $1.72 billion.
