Old-style driving license replacement process extended for 1 year
The deadline for replacing old driver's licenses has been extended for another year
Amendments have been made to the resolution "On measures to introduce new models of a national driver's license and a certificate of registration of a motor vehicle."
In accordance with a government decree dated April 12, the deadline for the mandatory replacement of all old-style national driver's licenses and motor vehicle registration certificates has been extended as follows:
Driving licenses
- issued before 2010 - must be replaced by March 31, 2023;
- issued in 2010 - 2012 - must be replaced by June 30, 2023;
- issued in 2013-2015 - must be replaced by September 30, 2023;
- issued after 2015 - must be replaced by December 31, 2023.
Certificates that are not replaced before the above deadlines are considered invalid.
