The number of non-state educational organizations in Uzbekistan is increasing
The number of non-state educational organizations in Uzbekistan is increasing. Within the year, there has been a 52% increase in private educational organizations.
According to the Statistics Agency, at the start of the 2023–24 academic year, there were 293 non-state educational organizations operating in Uzbekistan. This marks an increase of 235 organizations compared to the beginning of the 2018 and 2019 academic year. Here is a breakdown of the number of operating non-state educational organizations over the years:
- 2018/2019 academic year: 58 units
- 2019/2020 academic year: 91 units
- 2020/2021 academic year: 102 units
- 2021/2022 academic year: 135 units
- 2022/2023 academic year: 194 units
- 2023/2024 academic year: 293 units
