The rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup starts in Uzbekistan on April 14, 2023.
Gymnasts from 31 countries will compete in Tashkent. They include Australia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, China, Cuba, Egypt, Italy, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, New Zealand and Turkiye.
Among the iconic names are Italy's Sofia Raffaeli, Margarita Kolosov and Daria Varfolomeyev of Germany and Slovenia's Katerina Vedeneeva.
Uzbekistan will be represented at the Tashkent World Cup by Tahmina Ikromova, champion of Asia and the Islamic Solidarity Games, World Cup winner and team leader; Yosmina Rakhimova, champion of Asia and the Islamic Solidarity Games; and the group exercise team (Ekaterina Fetisova, Rukhshona Dehkonova, Shahzada Ibragimova, Nargiza Jumaniyazova, Mumtoza Iskhakzoda, Irodahon Sadikova).
The World Cup in Tashkent is the third stage of the current series. The first one was held in mid-March in Athens.
