Uzbek chess players are among top 100 strongest in world
Three of Uzbekistan’s strongest chess players made it to the top 100 list of the International Chess Federation. Nodirbek Abdusattorov, with over 2,700 points, is the highest-ranked Uzbek player, securing 24th place on the list. Rustam Kasimjanov, with over 2,600 points, placed 67th.
In the under-20 category, Nodirbek Abdusattorov ranked third with 2,725 points, while Javakhir Sindorov placed ninth with 2,659 points. In 81st place on this list was Muhiddin Madaminov. In the girls' rating of this age category, Afruza Khamdamova is 35th and Umida Amonova is 40th.
In the rapid game’s category, Nodirbek Abdusattorov placed third among the 100 strongest under-20 chess players, while Javahir Sindorov placed seventh. In the women's top 100 rapid games, Umida Omonova placed 14th, and Afruza Khamdamova is 37th.
