Uzbekistan launches crowdfunding platform

The Ministry of education of Uzbekistan launched the first online crowdfunding platform MFond.uz.
The platform allows donors-benefactors, parents, former school graduates, including compatriots living abroad to render Uzbek schools sponsorship assistance.
Funds can be transferred through local payment systems such as Payme, Upay, Click or international payment systems Visa, Mastercard, etc.
The Fund will channel the accumulated funds to the development of school infrastructure, implementation of socially important projects of students and teachers, equipping laboratories, the creation of smart classes and other projects.
