Uzbekistan plans to open terminal at the Baku port
Work is in progress to establish storage infrastructure at the Baku port.
This terminal will function both for sugar transportation to Uzbekistan and for Uzbekistan’s export supplies.
According to the assignment of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan aims to increase deliveries through the ports of Azerbaijan and Georgia by up to 1.5 million tons.
Currently, both sides are working on creating storage infrastructure on the territory of the Baku port for storage of cargoes from Uzbekistan.
