Uzbekistan-Russia-India filmmakers to create modern interpretation of legendary film
Cinematography agency and "Uzbekfilm" management had a zoom meeting with famous director Janik Fayziev and Indian producer Umesh Mehra.
During the meeting, organizational issues, the selection of actors and the estimated budget of the film were discussed with the creation of a modern interpretation of the legendary film "Ali Baba and 40 Thieves", a joint project of Uzbekistan-Russia-India.
At the meeting, they noted that the picture planned to be shot will be a continuation of the first part of the legend of Ali Baba and it should be shot in a modern interpretation.
At the conference, the parties agreed to meet in person at the beginning of July to thoroughly study all the practical issues of creating a film.
