Wet and Cold Spell Hits Uzbekistan
The "Uzhydromet" service has announced the weather forecast for Uzbekistan from January 15 to 19.
Today, wet and cold air has entered Uzbekistan, bringing heavy precipitation (rain, snow) to most of the country. Snow may fall, and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the weather will worsen without precipitation. Desert winds may reach 13-18 m/s. Daytime temperatures will be hot, ranging from 3o to 2o cold, and in the north, it will be 3-8o cold.
Tomorrow, there will be rain and slight precipitation in the central, eastern, and mountainous parts of the country. The rest of Uzbekistan will experience poor weather without precipitation. Night temperatures in many places will drop to 0-5 degrees, while daytime temperatures will be 2-7 degrees, except in the north where it will be 8-13 degrees at night and 0-5 degrees during the day.
On January 15-16, snow drifts are expected in the direct park of Tashkent and Namangan regions. Dry weather is anticipated in Uzbekistan until the end of the working week, with nighttime temperatures ranging from 3o cold to 2o clear, gradually rising to 8-13o heat during the day.
In the capital, occasional precipitation (rain, snow) is forecasted on January 15, with west winds at 3-8 m/s. The temperature will range from 1o cold to 1o warm.
On January 16, occasional precipitation (rain, snow) is expected, and overnight fog may occur. Nighttime temperatures will be 1-3o cold, with daytime temperatures ranging from 2-4o warm.
No precipitation is expected on January 17-18, with the possibility of overnight fog. On January 17, nighttime temperatures will be 1-3o cold, reaching 6-8o warm during the day. On January 18, nighttime temperatures will be 1o cold to 1o warm, and daytime temperatures will range from 8-10o warm.
