Uzbek athletes won 2 more medals at Asian Championship
Uzbekistan's athletes won more medals at the Asian Championships. Farida Solieva and Svetlana Radzivill contributed to the team's success.
Farida Solieva secured a silver medal in the women's 400m event, with a time of 52.95 seconds. The gold went to Ramanayaka Nadisha from Sri Lanka, who finished in 52.61 seconds, while Aishwarya Mishra from India took the bronze with a time of 53.07 seconds.
Svetlana Radzivill from Uzbekistan won the bronze medal in the high jump. She successfully cleared heights of 1.75m, 1.80m, and 1.83m on her first attempts, but couldn't surpass the 1.86m bar. This marks Radzivill's sixth medal at the Asian Championships. The gold in the high jump was shared by Kristina Ovchinnikova from Kazakhstan and Elizaveta Matveeva, also from Kazakhstan, both clearing 1.86m.
Overall, Uzbekistan has now earned three medals in the competition, with Suhrob Khodzhayev winning silver in the hammer throw event.
