Uzbekistan Secures 3rd Place in Second CIS Games with 106 Medals
In the recently concluded second CIS Games held in Belarus on August 14, the Uzbekistan delegation secured an impressive third-place finish overall. Their achievement was marked by a total of 106 medals, consisting of 28 gold, 25 silver, and 53 bronze medals.
The competition, which featured representatives from 13 non-CIS countries alongside the CIS nations, saw a total of 246 medals awarded across 20 different sports. The closing ceremony of the event took place today, during which the competition's flag was passed on to Azerbaijan, the host for the upcoming third CIS Games in 2025.
