IUT and Google discuss training of IT professionals
The parties agreed to continue discussions on possible areas of cooperation.
Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) and Google Corporation discussed the establishment of cooperation in the field of training IT professionals through joint training programs and support for start-ups.
IUT Rector Sarvar Babakhodjaev held talks with the head of Google Developers in Turkey, Caucasus and Central Asia Barish Yesugei.
Barish Yesugei talked about his plans to develop cooperation with IT developers from Uzbekistan. He noted that his unit provides various assistance to developers from the region, including informational and technical support. The main work in this direction is conducted through so-called Google Developer Groups (GDG).
The parties discussed the process question of specialists’ training in the field of information technology and involvement of girls in IT sector, as well as support for start-ups from Uzbekistan through the providence of various events, including Google I / O, Women Techmakers, DevFest, Google Launchpad Accelerator, etc.
The parties agreed to continue discussions on possible areas of cooperation.
