Investment forum in Gulistan sees $200 mln worth agreements signed
The forum was divided into breakout sessions on priority areas of development of the region, such as attracting foreign direct investment, economic development, agriculture, development of alternative energy, ecotourism, agro-tourism, as well as the development of the industrial sector.
First international investment forum of Syrdarya was held in Gulistan on August 22.
At the opening ceremony of the Forum, Minister of investment and foreign trade Sardor Umurzakov addressed a welcoming speech. The Minister noted the importance of international events aimed at attracting investment to the regions, given the significant industrial potential and favorable conditions for business development.

Separately, a reception was held for the heads of diplomatic missions from the Khokimiyat of the Syrdarya region.
The event concluded with the signing of trade and investment agreements worth over $ 200 million.
