The results of the study of the wind potential at the construction site of the future wind farm would make it possible to complete the feasibility and financial justification of the project, which will become the basis for concluding credit agreements with International financial institutions.
As part of the project to build a wind farm, on June 8, 2020, the National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan signed an agreement with Masdar Energy on the purchase of electricity. The wind farm is scheduled to be commissioned in 2023.
