SOCAR to start production of oil and gas equipment in Uzbekistan
Special attention was paid to the issue of development of cooperation in the territory of Azerbaijan. In particular, an agreement was reached on joint study of oil production projects in the Azerbaijani part of the Caspian Sea.
First Deputy Minister of Energy, Mirzamakhmudov Zhurabek and Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz, Bahodir Sidikov held talks with the President of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev.
The parties discussed the implementation of joint projects, as well as developed mechanisms to accelerate their implementation. In particular, roadmaps were signed on exploration projects in investment blocks of Uzbekistan and on increasing production in the fields of Kashkadarya region, providing for a speedy transition to the practical implementation of agreements.

They also discussed the possibility of increasing the export potential of oil and gas and chemical products of Uzbekistan with the company "SOCAR Trading", which is one of the world's trading companies for oil and petroleum products.
