Takhiatash TPP launches second combined-cycle plant with a capacity of 280 MW
This major investment project is being implemented by a consortium of companies "Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd" and "Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd".
The second modern combined-cycle gas plant (CCGT) with a capacity of 280 MW was launched at the Takhiatash Thermal Power Plant (TPP).
"Its commissioning will help cover the electricity demand in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and in the Khorezm region," the press service of Thermal Power Stations commented.
