Uzbekistan joins International Sericultural Commission
The International Sericultural Commission (ISS), with headquarters in Bangalore (India), announced the admission of Uzbekistan into organization`s ranks. "Instrument of admission" was officially signed by the leadership of the recently established "Uzbekipaksanoat" Association.

As a member of the authoritative organization, our country will have the opportunity to benefit from the experience, advice and services of international experts in sericulture industry, to participate in various programs and projects of the International Sericultural Commission, IA "Jahon" said.
The leadership of the organization welcomed the admission of our country.
Established in 1960, ISS aims at development of sericulture and silk industry in the world.
Uzbekistan has become the twentieth member of the Commission along with Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Ghana, Greece, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Korea, Madagascar, Nepal, Romania, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia, France and Japan.
