Uzbekistan may start sending goods through the Aktau Sea Trade Port (Kazakhstan)
The management of the Aktau Seaport, Kazakhstan expressed its readiness to accept applications from Uzbek companies for the transportation of goods. This agreement was reached during a meeting between the Consul General of Uzbekistan in the city of Aktau and the Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC" Aktau Commercial Sea Port "Abay Turikpenbaev.
The parties discussed the ways to transport Uzbek products through the port of Aktau to the European countries.
The seaport of Aktau is located on the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea at the intersection of several international transport corridors, which allows for the transportation of dry cargo, crude oil and oil products from east to west, from north to south and back in the direction of Iran, Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan 12 months a year and 24 hours a day.
