Uzbekistan’s GDP hits $115 bln
According to the Statistics Agency, Uzbekistan's economy grew by 6.5% in 2024, with GDP totaling $114.9 billion. Meanwhile, GDP per capita reached $3,093.
In 2024, the average official exchange rate of the US dollar against the Uzbek soum was 12,652 UZS, compared to 11,737.2 UZS in 2023. Based on this exchange rate, Uzbekistan's nominal GDP reached $114.96 billion.
Last year, GDP per capita at current prices stood at approximately $3,092. The real growth of per capita GDP was 4.4% compared to 2023 and 19.5% compared to 2020.
In terms of economic structure, the services sector expanded, increasing its share of GDP from 46.2% in 2023 to 47.4% in 2024. The industrial sector also grew, rising from 25.3% to 26.4%. However, the share of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries declined from 21.2% to 19.2%, while the construction sector's share slightly decreased from 7.3% to 7%.
