China is not only the world's largest producer of peanuts, but also importer. In 2019 the volume of Chinese imports of peeled peanuts amounted to 405 thousand tons worth $285 million. The main suppliers were African countries such as Senegal, Ethiopia, Sudan, as well as India and the United States. Now Uzbekistan has joined the list of these countries.
